Balanced Hormones, Balanced Life
Healthy, balanced hormones give you great energy, an awesome sex life, periods that you hardly know are there, and just feeling overall, well, balanced. But like life, things may not always go as smoothly and imbalances may occur from time to time.
In fact, there’s also a way to look at hormones and how they’re metabolized within your body (urine tests are great for this; saliva is great too to check up on, as well as test cortisol, our stress hormone- a big factor in hormone imbalance), to further your knowledge about what exactly is going on inside. Blood tests help too, as not only are we spiritual beings, but we also have a 3D body to take care of.
Just like in life- while meditation and time to yourself is imperative, it’s in those more adverse times can we really see how far we’ve come, what we need to do moving forward, and even give ourselves credit for where we are in our journey.
Ask yourself these questions to help discover what may be off-balance:
💫 Are you following the path of least resistance?
💫 Are you acknowledging times or people who challenge your ability to feel grounded?
💫How do you react in times of what you perceive as stress?
Here, intuition and a healthy emotional response are important. This is when our fight, flight or flee instinct kicks in. There’s also another option to assess if there’s a deeper meaning, and respond accordingly, versus a sudden reaction we may regret later.
To me, hormone health means being able to acknowledge when something doesn’t feel right & know what to do or who to ask for help to create balance back in your life. ⚖️
